Acupuncturists as Soccer Gods

The Acupuncture profession can be a lonely profession. Compared to some professions, say being a member of the Brazilian National Soccer team, we just don’t get the adoring crowds, the wild adulation, the groupies, that maybe we deserve. That’s a shame IMO because We Do Good Work.

But maybe if the world were just a little bit different we would get the recognition that so many of us crave. Maybe we would get the prestige…

Well now there IS a way. Am I talking mass acceptance by insurance companies? Nah! How about admitting privileges to hospitals? Phooey! Being allowed to call us the hallowed term of Doctor? Screw that! There’s something much better!!!

Wow! What a lineup! That's a lineup of Gods! Who wouldn’t get better going to a clinic like that one!

- The strikers are beautiful compliments. Mosinhosa is the ultimate #11 withdrawn forward, tirelessly setting up his teammates while making the patients comfortable. # 9 Skisco can turn on any illness to deliver a killer needle.

- Has there ever been a better #6 than Lupinio? She’s not only Rohledaldo’s bodyguard and team enforcer but she can carry the clinic to the offense to severely unbalance any complaints the opposition might have.

- Wingers Gulbransio and Vallito make killer runs, interchanging from side to side, using the full width of the patient to ensure victory. Christiano and Ilsido bring both support to the backline and make deadly overlapping runs to score with patients.

- Jasminiano and Sildo provide the perfect central defensive pair- tall and tough as nails.(Sildo's nickname is in fact "Nails". Very little gets by them. With Conniaca in goal no wonder most treatments are shutouts.

- Finally, all the fans are raving at the potential of Freedmezo in practice. Already she has made her mark in the defense when others are out with injury but what has the insiders buzzing is her nearly unlimited potential at striker.
