The tipping point...

Hello all you CAN folks out there. I am calling upon you to think and feel abundant thoughts as a collective for BCA. We have been doing pretty well, but have just about maxed out our buffer zone credit line with the bank. EKK… Not sure how I feel about putting it out there so brazenly but this is what’s going on for me now. And so, I humbly ask for you to shine your powerful thoughts of love, abundance and prosperity on us. I have this strong sense we are at a tipping point and that domino needs to fall.

I have this theory that by putting it out on the world-wide-web dreams can come true. Yes/No, What do you think? or Dear God….

In the midst of a stressful day I had some amazing experiences that brought tears to my eyes. One of my patients gave me a thoughtful note about her experiences under my care along with a box of “abundance” scented incense.

Soon afterwards I came back to our front office to find a package waiting for me on the desk. Oh, fun! A package with my name on it. It was from some good friends of mine in North Carolina. I opened the card that read “something” to sweeten your trip. It was a box of chocolates. YUM. But inside the box of chocolates was a wad of cash. Actually 7,000 INR Indian rupee’s notes…approximately $200. Why you ask am I getting rupees in the mail? Well, I am going to India later this month on a spiritual retreat. (It is one of those opportunities I couldn’t pass up no matter the cost. I think I’ll have something interesting to blog about next month…)

Anyway, the third thing today was a fairly new patient who I was rescheduling for her next appointment; I let her know I would be out of the office on her next visit. I wasn’t going to say anything but she asked me a couple times, so I told her a little bit about my trip.

About an hour and a half later while I was finishing up with a new patient in the treatment area she came up to me on her way out and stuck a bill in my shirt pocket. “This is for your trip”. I was a bit surprised, but thanked her. I thought it might be like the times when my grandmother would slip me a few dollars. I was shocked when I pulled out a $50 bill.

Are you listening Joseph??? OK…..I don’t know the financial circumstances of this patient, but for someone who pays us $15 a treatment, this seemed like a lot of money for to just give me. I was overwhelmed.

So, now, as I write this blog I think about how much my community means to me. Today’s events demonstrated to me the all support I have. This
is not particular to me, but all of us. Today my community has overwhelmed me with their love and kindness when I needed it. This power of community we all share can reverberate outward…. I want to create more of this abundance so I offer these stories of love for you all. It doesn’t need to stop here….

I also ask for your powerful positive thoughts to help us tip that domino that needs to fall, towards the full-blown force our clinic has been revving up for. Putting it on the web makes it real…. for me and all of you….
